About Camp Harbor

Camp Harbor represents a unique blend of educational opportunities and summer fun that is an extension of Harbor Country Day School's distinguished educational experience.

The camp program includes workshops, sports, swimming, an Early Morning Program and After Camp Program, and a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program. Camp Harbor has provided a quality summer experience for over 500 boys and girls of in preschool through 8th grade each summer for over twelve years.

The goal of Camp Harbor is to create an atmosphere in which children feel confident and excited to develop their current interests and to explore new ones.

Building a Community through Weekly Group Activities, Contests and Challenges

Our camp staff provides a caring, supportive environment for our campers, and an eagerness to offer new experiences. Weekly contests and challenges foster a sense of community, and as a result each camper becomes part of a very special team. Friendships are discovered and strengthened, and leaders are born. Whether being a team captain, leading the daily pledge, participating in a drama production or leading a groups’ camp song, all campers have opportunities to discover themselves, increase their self-confidence and embrace new challenges.
