Driving Directions

Harbor Country Day School is located just off of North Country Road (Route 25A), north of the village of Smithtown. It can be easily reached:

From East or West on the Long Island Expressway

• Leave the Long Island Expressway at exit 56, and proceed north on Route 111.
• Follow Route 111 until it ends at its intersection with Jericho Turnpike in the village of Smithtown (also called Route 25 and Main Street).
• Cross Jericho Turnpike onto North Country Road, 25A (bearing right to keep the cemetery on your left) and continue traveling northeast to the village of Saint James.
• After passing the St. James Fire Department and the Hitherbrook Nursery on your left, take the next left onto Thompson Hill Road.
• At the second stop sign, turn right onto Three Sisters Road. The Harbor Country Day School entrance is approximately 1/4 mile on the right.

From the West on the Northern State Parkway

• Head east on the Northern State to the end, where it merges onto Veterans Memorial Highway, Route 434.
• Turn left at the first light onto New Highway, drive one short block to a STOP sign, and make a left onto Old Willets Path.
• Proceed on Old Willets Path approximately 1 mile to the intersection with Jericho Turnpike (Route 25) and turn right onto Jericho Turnpike.
• At the 4th traffic light, make a left onto Edgewood Avenue (note that the road name is Brooksite Drive on your right).
• Follow on Edgewood Avenue until it ends at Route 25A (North Country Road) and make a left onto Route 25A, continuing east into the village of St. James.
• After passing the St. James Fire Department and the Hitherbrook Nursery on your left, take the next left onto Thompson Hill Road.
• At the second stop sign, turn right onto Three Sisters Road. The Harbor Country Day School entrance is approximately 1/4 mile on the right.
