Harbor Country Day School is open for on-campus visits year-round. All visits will include a campus tour as well as time set aside to learn about your child(ren) and your educational and social-emotional goals. The visit will last around 1 hour based on each family’s availability.

Directions to the campus can be found here. Upon arrival on campus, please drive up and park in one of the admission parking spots.

Upon submitting your application, and having had your campus tour, the admission office will work with you to have your child(ren) visit Harbor. This is an opportunity for prospective students to see themselves as a Harbor student, get to know peers, faculty and experience the curriculum.

Candidates for all grades, Preschool through Grade 8 are required to participate in a school visit.

Preschool applicants will participate in informal screenings that include stepping into the classroom with their parents to meet with the teacher and division head.

Prospective Kindergarten through Grade 8 students will have a 2-day visit where they live the life of a Harbor student, participating in core and co-curricular classes, including P.E., and having a student buddy assigned to them to help them feel welcome. A complimentary lunch is available to all students. Standardized testing also may be required for Kindergarten through Grade 8. Student report cards may be required. Harbor’s Student Evaluation Form, a Student Application (for Grades 4-8), and a Yearly Health Survey may be required for the student visit. Please advise if your child(ren) has/have any health issues, food allergies, or medical concerns prior to the visit.

Preschool 2s, 3s, and 4s
Decisions on preschool applications are made on a rolling basis as space allows. Enrollment is open to children who will reach the age of two for PK2s, three for PK3s, and four for PK4s, by December 1 of their entry year.

Grades K-8

Decisions on school-aged admission are made on a rolling basis.
