Matching Gifts

Many employers are willing to match donations to Harbor Country Day School, which is a wonderful way to increase the impact of your gift. If your employer or your spouse's employer has a matching gift program, please indicate this when making your gift. You may enclose the employer's matching gift form with your gift. If you do not have a form, please contact the employer's human resources department for more information.

Gifts of Securities & Stocks

A gift of securities or stock is an alternative to a cash gift to Harbor. It provides for an income tax deduction for the giver equal to the fair market value of the securities/stock at the date of transfer. Gifts of appreciated securities may provide the donor with favorable tax advantages.

Credit Card by Mail or Phone

If you would like to make a gift to Harbor Country Day School using your credit card please contact the Advancement Office at (631) 584-5555 or click here, which will bring you to a secure payment gateway.

We also accept credit card donations by mail, using our Harbor Fund donation envelope. You may pick up an envelope at the school, and simply check the appropriate box on the envelope, fill in the complete credit card information, and mail the envelope to the address indicated above.

Gifts by credit card may be made in a single payment or in installments.

Pledges

If you would like to make a gift to Harbor Country Day School but are not in a position to do so right now, or wish to set up an installment plan, please contact the Advancement Office at (631) 584-5555 to phone in a pledge. If possible, indicate when you plan on making your gift to Harbor, and we will send you a friendly reminder. Pledges also may be made in the school office.

If you are pledging to the Harbor Fund, you may also mail your pledge, in a Harbor Fund envelope, to the address shown above. Harbor Fund pledges for the current campaign year must be paid by June 30th, but the sooner the gift is made, the sooner the donation goes to work for the school.
