Giving to Harbor

As a nonprofit institution, Harbor Country Day School relies heavily on philanthropy to enable us to continue to provide an extraordinary educational experience. At Harbor, as with other independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating each child, nor does it cover the expenses of attracting and retaining an outstanding faculty or developing an exceptional academic program for our student body.

At Harbor, philanthropic support is all about the children – the bright, creative, enthusiastic young students who are at the heart of Harbor.

Our students are the reason our teachers come to work in the morning with smiles on their faces, why parents become so engaged in the life of the school, and why Harbor's founders took the bold step of starting a new school in 1958 with the mission to "cherish childhood, cultivate wonder and inspire confident learners and leaders."

Harbor Country Day School is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization as recognized by the IRS.

Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. To receive a current year tax deduction for your gift, it must be received by December 31st.
