The Harbor County Day School community comprises not only current students and alumni, and our faculty and staff, but also their loved ones.  When a student matriculates at Harbor Country Day Shcool, their families do, too and want each family to get involved in the evolution of our community.

Parents of current students are automatically members of the Harbor Country Day School Parents’ Association, which is led by current parents; however, all parents are also encouraged to sign up for one or more of the many volunteer opportunities available each year, both to meet other parents and stay in touch with what’s going on at Harbor Country Day School.

The Parents' Association is dedicated to promoting a sense of community, facilitating communication between Harbor and its families, and raising funds for programs and events that enrich and enhance school life.

Parents' Association participation is an amazing opportunity to get to know other families, experience a slice of Harbor students' school lives, and become involved in the life of Harbor. Harbor’s Alumni Relations Office helps to foster and continue lasting relationships between Harbor’s alumni and the school they graduated from and love. The foundation for these relationships is built through communication, organized group events, opportunities to volunteer, and helping to create connections among Harbor’s many alumni.

In addition to keeping in touch via social media, Harbor Alumni are also invited back to join us for events throughout the course of the school year including:

• HCDS Turkey Bowl (November)
• Alumni Game Night (January)
• March Madness (March)
• Annual Spring Benefit (March)
• End of Year Community Barbecue (June)

If you haven't done so recently, please take a moment to update your contact information with our Alumni Questionnaire so we can be sure that you are receiving these communications.

Finally, if you happen to be in the area, why not make plans to stop by Harbor for a visit? We always welcome our alumni with open arms, at any time of the year, and our current students enjoy the opportunity to visit with the alumni who walked the halls of Tulip Knoll before them.

The board of Harbor Country Day School is a self-perpetuating entity charged with governance of the school, namely, the strategic, long-term protection and strengthening of the school’s financial, physical, and programmatic assets. Harbor’s board is comprised of current and former parents, alumni, and friends from surrounding communities. Members of Harbor Country Day School’s Board of Trustees are unpaid volunteers dedicated to the school’s past, present, and future. The head of Harbor Country Day School is an ex-officio member of the board of trustees, without vote.
