2026-2027 Uniform Requirements

Students in PK2, PK3, and PK4 do not have a specific dress code but should wear comfortable and clean clothing with sneakers. We ask each child to bring in two sets of emergency clothes and one set of rain boots. (The classroom uniform listed below is optional for these grades.)

Students in kindergarten through fourth grade should visit the Lands’ End webpage (see instructions below) where grade-specific uniforms are listed. Sneakers are accepted as footwear.

Lands’ End Information

For placing your orders, Lands’ End’s school merchandise website is landsend.com/school. Their telephone # is 1-800-469-2222. Our preferred school number is 900108663; please remember to give this number to Lands’ End when placing your order. Please be sure to enter the correct numbers when placing your orders. For all other Lands’ End inquiries such as clothing quality or country of origin, contact customer service at 1-800-332-4700. Daily Uniform Requirements* for Kindergarten through Grade Four

• Navy Plaid Jumper
• White or Green short-sleeved T-shirt
• Khaki (only) pants, skorts or shorts, or skirts
• White or evergreen long or short-sleeved polo shirt or broadcloth shirt, or button-down
• Evergreen (only) cardigan sweater, vest, or fleece
• White or navy tights, socks, or black or navy leggings which may be worn under skirts or dresses
• Sneakers or comfortable shoes
• Athletic Sneakers for PE (can be worn daily)

*Grade four students must purchase a PE uniform, please see the requirements below.

K-4 Formal/Concert Dress

Khaki pants, skirt, or classic navy plaid jumper with white, collared shirt or button-down shirt white socks; black or brown leather belt; black or brown dress shoes.

Daily Uniform Requirements for Grades Five through Eight

• Khaki or Navy Blue pants, skorts, shorts, or skirts
• Short sleeve mesh polo dress in Navy Blue or Evergreen
• White or evergreen long or short-sleeved polo shirt or broadcloth shirt, or button-down

• White or navy tights, socks, or leggings in black or navy, which may be worn under skirts or dresses

Physical Education Uniform – Grades Four through Eight

• White or Green short-sleeved T-shirt Evergreen athletic shorts

5-8 Formal/Concert Dress

Dress Down “Spirit Days” - Kindergarten through Grade Eight

Every Friday (unless announced beforehand) is called a “Spirit Day” when students may wear “Harbor wear” in place of the regular school uniform. On these days in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, students may wear tops that include Harbor logos with regular clothing below.

Lands' End Fit Guide

1. Tuition assistance is for tuition only and does not include fees for program activities, lunch, consolidated fees, after-school activities, field trips, textbooks, educational testing, Parents’ Association fees or support, or other additional fees.

2. Tuition assistance is determined after a student has been accepted.

3. Tuition assistance for families is granted solely based on need. Assistance will be made in accordance with the School’s financial aid policies and the number of tuition assistance requests for the school year.

4. All students receiving tuition assistance must maintain good academic standing. A minimum of a C+ average is required. All students receiving tuition assistance must also display excellent citizenship as outlined in the Student Handbook.

5. All tuition assistance awards are made for one academic year. Renewal applications for the next academic year will be accepted if all other financial obligations to the school have been met.

6. Harbor Country Day School does not discriminate in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid policies or program or other school administered programs on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, ethnicity, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, marital status, disability, veteran status, military status, sexual orientation, domestic partnership, age, gender, genetic information, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local laws, regulations or ordinances.

7. For the upcoming school year, families must submit the School and Student Services (SSS) Form and applicable tax documents by the first Friday in February.

8. Each tuition assistance requested will be analyzed by a Tuition Assistance Committee. All information is kept in strict confidence.

9. The Tuition Assistance Committee will announce its decisions within two weeks after the 1st Friday in February. In order to reserve the Committee’s tuition assistance award for a student, written acceptance must be provided within two weeks after the award is offered. If the family needs to appeal the Committee’s decision, an appeal letter must be received within two weeks after the family receives their tuition assistance award. Any additional information requested must be submitted to the School within one week of the request. A 10% deposit must be received by the 2nd Friday in March to reserve a place for the student. Any SSS information received after the 1st Friday in February will only be considered if additional tuition assistance funds are available.

10. In order to adhere to ethical financial aid practices and Board of Trustees policy, the above policy will be uniformly enforced. To be considered for any tuition assistance, this policy MUST be followed. There will be no exceptions.

This Privacy Policy sets forth the policies of Harbor Country Day School with respect to nonpublic personal information you provide to us through this web site (the "Site"). If you register with the Site you will be provided with a Username and Password which you must provide to us to login and to obtain access to password protected portions of our site. If you ask to receive additional information, we will ask you to provide us with your personal information so we can contact you to respond to your request. We also will receive your personal information if you submit it to us when you e-mail comments to the Site or if you complete surveys on our Site.

Use of Information. We do not disclose any of your personal information to anyone, other than to our affiliates, except as permitted by law, such as to our attorneys, and certain service providers, such as third-party web site hosts. We will only release information about you if you direct us to do so, if compelled to do so by law or in connection with any government or self-regulatory organization request or investigation. We may also disclose information you provide to us to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. If such a disclosure is made, we will require such third-parties to treat your private information with confidentiality.

7. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"). COPPA requires that web site operators never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting verifiable parental consent. In accordance with COPPA, we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We recommend that no one under the age of 18 submit personally identifiable information to our Site. In the event that we determine that a user of this Site is under the age of 13, we will not maintain or use his or her personally identifiable information.

8. Hyperlinks. This Site contains hyperlinks or "links" to other sites, and other sites may "link" to this Site. Web sites linking to and from this Site may have different privacy practices from the ones described here. We are not responsible for the data collection, privacy and information sharing polices and procedures or the content of such web sites.
